Teenage mother Awakening program
This initiative is to help teenage mothers get counseling and back to school to acquire life skills.
Most teen age mothers drop out of school and end up failing to make it in life. Most of the rural teenage mothers are rejected by either the parents or those responsible for their pregnancies and some times by both parties.
In such a case most of these girls lives are shattered and left with no hope in life. We believe that such girls need to be given a chance to go back to school after having babies so they can realise their dreams.
So we take them through counseling to keep the pregnancy and give birth. Once the baby is 6 Months, the mother will prepare to go back to school. So as the teenage mothers go back to school, their babies are taken care of in Church Baby home until when the mother finishes school. Mothers are allowed to check on their babies for bonding purposes.
Once the mother gets a job, the baby is handed back to her so they dwell together as family. You can support this program by making regular monthly/Annual donations. You can pick a teenage mother to support through School. You can support both teenage mother and the baby. You can donate clothing, food items, shoes, beddings, beds and sanitary.
